The Simple Pineapple “Dump” Cobbler
This version creates a cake-like topping over a sweet pineapple base.
- Prep the Pineapple: Pour your pineapple (chunks or crushed, including the juice) into a baking dish. Stir in about 1/4 to 1/2 cup of sugar, depending on how sweet the pineapple already is.
- The Topping: Mix 1.5 cups of Bisquick with a little extra sugar and enough water (or milk) to create a thick, pourable batter.
- Combine: Pour the batter over the pineapple. Do not stir them together; let the batter sit on top.
- Bake: Bake at 375°F (190°C) for about 25–30 minutes until the top is golden brown and the pineapple is bubbling.
